Stop in to the Academic Retiree Centre to see the latest exhibit of original art, “Something Old and Something New” by retired English professor Patricia Vicari.  Meet the artist, hear about the art firsthand from its creator, and enjoy light refreshments.

October 1, 2013 12noon-2pm: New Retiree Reception

Keynote speaker: Samir K. Sinha, MD, DPhil, FRCPC, Expert Lead, Ontario Seniors Strategy. Director of Geriatrics, Mount Sinai and the University Health Network Hospitals.

A special welcome for recent retirees and those soon to retire. Co-sponsored by ARC, RALUT and Senior College. 256 McCaul Street, Room 406. In addition to the Pension and Benefits help that the University offers for retirees, RALUT (Retired Academics and Librarians at the University of Toronto) are offering some one-on-one assistance.  On Friday mornings, Doug Creelman, Vice-President and former RALUT Benefits Committee Chair, will be available for helpful, confidential consultation.  Come to the Academic Retiree Centre any Friday morning, 9:30 to noon, 256 McCaul Street, just south of College, Suite 412. Or call on a Friday morning (416-978-7553) to talk to Doug.
